Best Trade Association – 2026
For the third year in a row, the AFPDB received the award for Best Professional Association from the European structured products industry at the SRP EUROPE 2026 ceremony in London.
The AFPDB increased its representativeness in 2025, welcoming four newissuers: Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley, joining our existing members: BNP Paribas, Citi, CACIB, Goldman Sachs, Natixis, Société Générale, and Vontobel.
In 2025, the AFPDB focused its activities on the following initiatives :
Weekly Legal and Regulatory Committee
Holding of over 40 sessions of its Committee. This committee regroups members’ business, legal, compliance and regulatory affairs experts. This forum is regularly attended by representatives of sister associations (AMAFI, FBF, BSW, EUSIPA…). It actively contributes to the marketplace reflections on work-streams concerning the issuing and distribution of structured products.
AFPDB Members strongly appreciate the regularity of this forum, its informal nature and the depth and breadth of intelligence shared by the participating experts. It also permits the definition of common advocacy positions, analysis and actions on those matters.
Contributions to the Legislative Framework
A trusted source of educational material, ideas and proposals through direct written and oral contributions to the European Commission, the European Supervisory Authorities (ESMA and EIOPA), and the National Competent Authorities (AMF, ACPR, French Treasury…) on subjects such as:
- ESG regulations (SFDR),
- Retail Investment Strategy (RIS) and Savings and Investments Union (SIU),
- Promotional operations for the coverage of brokerage fees for listed structured products,
- Distribution of actively managed certificates (AMC),
- Contribution to the AMF review on products with crypto underlyings.
In 2026, the AFPDB intends to confirm its pioneering and leadership roles in the promotion of structured products:
Value for Money and ESG Focus
Specific attention will continue to be devoted to the performance and costs of listed and structured products (VfM, performance and fees reports), and the development of ESG offerings.
Best Practices and Product Promotion
Driving excellence by actively promoting best practices (e.g., marketing brochures, informative FAQs) and fostering robust investor education.
European Cooperation
This work and priorities will be addressed in a spirit of European cooperation, particularly leveraging the excellent French-German synergy, which is core of the AFPDB’s action.
